Yella Beezy Grieves His Mother’s Passing Amidst Murder Trial

Yella Beezy is dealing with the loss of his mother while facing a tough legal situation.

On Sunday, January 18, the rapper from Dallas posted a touching message about his mother, Kim, who passed away last week. The post included several pictures of her over time.

“Kim Baby! where do I start?” Beezy wrote. “My Mama, My Sister, My Best Friend, My World, My Everything…. I feel so empty right now. I can’t describe it. I wouldn’t want anyone to feel this pain… My Backbone, My life.”

He continued, “How do I live without you? Who am I supposed to talk to every day? Who do I send reels to? Who do I argue with? It’s been us against the world since I was born. No one can fight for me like you did, protect me, support me. God, I know you don’t make mistakes, and I’ll never question you. I’m not going against you, and I won’t doubt you, but I’m hurt and lost. I need your strength.”

Yella Beezy’s mom’s death comes as he prepares for trial in the 2020 murder case of fellow Dallas rapper Mo3. Beezy is accused of paying Kewon White to kill Mo3 because of a rivalry. The trial was supposed to start on February 2, but due to a lot of evidence from the state, Beezy’s lawyers asked to delay it.

A pretrial hearing happened last week, and Beezy didn’t have to attend because of his mother’s passing.
