Malik English is a 21 year-old Trinidadian/Nigerian artist and producer from Crown Heights, Brooklyn. English’s diverse taste and influences range from Kanye West to Fallout Boy resulting in a unique sound defined as Glitter Trap. Through the use of trippy synths & hard drums combined with his limitless flows and melodies, English is quickly carving his own lane in Rap music. His efforts have resulted in him playing shows at The Apollo & Bowery Electric to name a few.
With Fell in Luv, English is hoping to keep the momentum going with a track that details the complexities of one trying to remove themselves from a toxic relationship, emphasizing the pain that comes with. The eerie synth leads, pounding bass and 808, combined with English’s raw, emotive vocal tone creates an image of pain and love. Two sides of the same coin.
