February 24, 20182 min read

In a time of age where drugs are glamorized Xanax effects hit the scene and made an impact on pop culture.

As you may know Xanax also known as Alprazolam, It is used to treat anxiety and panic disorders. This drug has been abused heavily by rappers, singers and teenagers alike. Xanax is highly addictive but is now becoming a social norm to consume. Just recently the artist know as Lil Peep was found unresponsive on his tour bus due to a Xanax overdose. Its safe to say Xanax effects can be deadly and can devastate families if abused.  Lets take a moment of silence to remember the great music he gave the world.

Xanax Effects

Mental illness is something that is not talked about enough in the community especially in the younger generation. Instead of glamorizing Xanax and drugs that let us run away from our problems, we should encourage each other to find other ways to deal with our adversity. As a community of artist and pioneers we must help the world. Lets not condone the abuse of substances like Xanax. Imagine getting the news that a loved one is no longer present with us due to substance abuse.

Some artist we can say our the pioneers of the Xanax movement include, Lil Uzi, Future, Lil Xan (His Name is Lil Xan), Lil Pump, and alot more lil people. Honestly, the crazy part is that annually about 125,000 people end up in the hospital due to a overdose on Xanax. To be quite frank, its easy to see how abusing drugs is directly correlated to a bigger problem. Take a look at this kid and just look how messed up he is on the Xanax. This can’t be the wave…..

What are some of your thoughts on Xanax? Is taking them DopeOrNope?
