J. Cole’s “The Fall-Off” Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200

J. Cole lands another No. 1 album with “The Fall-Off” topping the Billboard 200 chart.

On Sunday, AlwaysBeOG shared that J. Cole’s double-disc album hit the top, selling 280,000 albums, with 113,000 from pure sales. This is the biggest week for a hip-hop album since Playboi Carti’s “MUSIC,” which sold 298,000 last March.

Five of J. Cole’s past albums also debuted at No. 1: “Cole World: The Sideline Story,” “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” “4 Your Eyez Only,” “KOD,” and “The Off-Season.” “Born Sinner” started at No. 2 in 2013 but moved up to No. 1 in its third week.

After years of waiting, “The Fall-Off” finally dropped on Feb. 6. Popular tracks include “Two Six,” “Bunce Road Blues” with Future and Tems, and “Run A Train” with Future.

Right after the album release, J. Cole kicked off the Trunk Sale Tour ’26, selling CDs from his old Honda Civic. He used to do this in Fayetteville, N.C., when he was starting out. So far, he’s visited cities in North Carolina, Virginia, Atlanta, Silver Spring, Md., and New York City, with more stops ahead.
